The building of Tessadele House in the Northern Rivers region of northern New South Wales, Kyogle, is an architect's ambition to design a house without the usual complexities and limitations normally associated with heavy, masonry suburban building. An elevated house, simply planned and constructed in steel, is now under construction on a sloping site in Rous Street only minutes walk from central Kyogle. Designed in two connected linear blocks that are positioned to suit the fall of the land, orientation and outlook, the residence contains generous sized, opened planned living areas, spacious bedrooms and projecting timber decks with leafy district views.
When complete, it is intended that Tessadele house be sold to stand as an example of an alternative way to build long lasting residences in the hilly clay soils of Kyogle.
Feel free to browse the website to learn more about the design, location and progress of the house and it’s up coming sale. We would encourage anyone interested in purchasing the house to contact the owners or real estate agent for further information.
