15a Rous Street is well above flood plains. It is located within easy walking distance to all downtown Kyogle amenities. These include the shopping centre, train station, cinema, schools, hospital, office space, aquatic centre, law courts and the like, all set in a vibrant community and scenic surroundings.
Kyogle's appeal is in its superb valley setting, its charming nearby villages and its proximity to the rainforests and national parks.
At least two of the parks should be mentioned here. Richmond Range National Park, 40 km west of Kyogle, contains a remnant of the vast Focal Peak volcano, active about 24 million years ago.
The World Heritage listed Border Ranges Park, shared by NSW and Queensland, has its southern entrance at Barkers Vale, some 25 km from Kyogle.
The closest airport is Lismore (30 minutes drive). It is also 30 minutes from Nimbin, 60 minutes from Ballina and two hours from the coast and Coolangatta.
